We realise that coming to a church for the first time can be scary. This page includes some practical information to make your visit as easy as possible. Please feel free to contact us if you would like any more information before you come.
Some key information...
When & Where does the church meet?
We meet every Sunday at 10.30 am at:
The Causeway Community Church
Parking on site is limited. Please use the free parking nearby, taking into consideration the needs of our neighbours. You can see a map on our 'Contact us' page.
In addition to our Sunday Service we have a number of midweek activities for all ages. More information is available in the 'What's On' section of this website.
What should I expect if I come on a Sunday?
You will be greeted by a member of our Welcome Team who will be able to answer any questions you might have about our gathering. They will give you a Bible and will show you where you need to go. During our Sunday service we spend time singing, praying, reading from God's word and listening to it being taught. Our usual practice is to work our way through a book of the Bible (or part of one), taking a section each week.
Our service usually last about an hour and a quarter. After the formal part of our meeting finishes tea and coffee is served in the main hall. Please do stay if you can - we would love to get to know you. You can find out more information about the church or ask any questions you have.
What happens to the kids on a Sunday?
Children join us for the start of the service and then leave for their groups when directed to do so. The kids will have great fun playing games and learning about Jesus in a way tailored to their age.
Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.
Will I have to join in?
Not at all! You are free simply to observe or to participate as much as you feel comfortable. Most of our time together is led from the front by an Elder. You will not be asked to say anything in front of others.
I have more questions, how can I get in touch?
